My grandparents own a house on Narragansett Ave which has been in the family for over 100 years. As a result, riding the carousel is a huge part of my life and one I’m very glad to pass along to my kids. The look of joy on my son Liam's face as he caught a ring last summer is one I will always cherish. I still feel the same way after riding for 30 years. Thank you for maintaining this wonderful carousel.

The Vincent House Tour

Built in 1672, this house is the Island's oldest residence. The house consists of five rooms, furnished with period antiques, to depict Island life throughout the last four centuries.

Guided tours of the Dr. Daniel Fisher House, the Old Whaling Church, and the Vincent House are available daily at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Tours begin at the Vincent House and last 45 minutes. Clare Thatcher, our knowledgeable tour leader, also offers tours by appointment for larger groups.
