After much deliberation on where to get married, we finally agreed that it had to be the same wonderful place where we got engaged - Martha's Vineyard. We weren't sure what to expect of the planning process, since we lived in Brooklyn and did not know the island businesses all that well. We chose the Old Whaling Church and the Dr. Fisher House for our venue. The staff at the Preservation Trust was flexible and organized in working with us to meet our needs and planning expectations. After two round-table discussions, we felt at ease and knew that the coordination of the fourteen vendors we needed to hire was in good hands.
