The Old Whaling Church, Edgartown
Located
next door to the Dr. Daniel Fisher House, the Old Whaling Church
can accommodate as many as 500 guests for a wedding ceremony. This
stately landmark, which was built by whaling captains in 1843, is
considered to be one of the finest examples of Greek revival architecture
in New England. The interdenominational church continues its heritage
as Edgartown's premier meeting place and is the ideal location for
your wedding ceremony. The Frederick Baylies Room, located on the
church's lower level, provides a spacious setting for a private
party or meeting for as many as 150 guests.
Main
